UK supermarket chain Iceland launched “melt-in-middle” vegan chocolate fondant puddings as part of its “No Bull” range.
“Yep, it’s true… our Vegan No Moo Melt in the Middle Puddings are available in stores and online from the 8th April,” said Iceland on Instagram. “We promise they’re UNBELIEVABLE and 100% worth the wait.”
No Moo Chocolate Melt in the Middle Pudding features a rich and spongy outer with an oozing chocolate center. It is Iceland supermarket’s very first vegan dessert as part of the range
Neil Nugent, head chef of Iceland supermarket, “knew [Iceland] had to create a full vegan range” following the huge success of its “bleeding” vegan No Bull burger in 2018.
The supermarket chain launched a range of 13 vegan food and ready meals in order to meet the huge demand from vegan consumers featuring a range of 100% plant-based meat alternatives.
Early this year, Iceland also expanded its vegan range as it launched 2 vegan pizzas in time for monthlong vegan challenge Veganuary.
Iceland’s new vegan No Cheese Humous Pizza includes a hummus sauce base topped with seasoned black kale and tomatoes, while the vegan Italian Garden Pizza includes a tomato base topped with mushrooms, broccoli, and tomatoes.
The new vegan No Moo Chocolate Melt in the Middle Pudding retails for £2.00 with 2 in each pack and is now available in Iceland supermarket locations and online.
